How Australian Trips makes money
Some links on this website are affiliate links. If you click one and then make a booking, the partner may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. The price is the same whether you use our link or go to the site directly.
Our current partners
- Stay22: hotel and accommodation search. Our Stay22 links open a search for the town named in the box, and Stay22 passes you to a booking site.
- Viator: tours and activities.
- GetYourGuide: tours and activities.
These three are the only affiliate partners on the site. Each partner box on a page names the partner it links to, and any page with partner links has a short notice under the headline.
How the links work
Partner links on this site go through a short redirect at australiantrips.com/go/… and then on to the partner. We count clicks on these links (which partner, which link and which page) with Google Analytics so we know which boxes are useful. Partner links are marked rel="sponsored nofollow" and open in a new tab.
Editorial independence
Partners do not see, review or approve our guides before they are published, and they cannot pay for placement. We put at most three partner boxes on a page, keep them out of the opening section, and never put two tour partners in the same box.
